Solved Clone 500gb jtag 360

I have two jtaged 360s...and now I have two 500g drives... i have a transfer kit, but if I use it, that will blank the source hard drive, is there any other way of doin this?? I can use a pc and ftp but then I will have to free up some major room. So Im wondering if there is some software to do this transfer internal to the 360. I havent seen any other ways of using a transfer kit, so Im wondering is there other options.

Use DVDs very easy or you could always use a flash drive

That would be a waste using dvds.

You didn't mention if they were in the 360 hdd shell or usb hdds, and just how full is 500gb hdd?

Good Point BHetrick,,,, there is about 360gig full...and both hdds are mounted in 360 hdd shells, thats why i was trying to copy via the "Microsoft transfer kit (cable)"

What I do when I want to transfer files from my personal jtag to a different jtag is I open a ftp (I use FileZilla) for each console. So a file goes from my jtag to my pc to the other jtag.

Any way you go, transferring 360gb isn't going to be quick.

I tried using flashFXP to transfer between two jtags and it just would not work, I was trying to find a solution that didn't include dumping 300-500 gig on a computer, and last time I used filezilla it did not support ftp to ftp... are you saying this has changed??????

If so that would be awesome, ftp to ftp is how I always did the xbox1's back in the day.

Well I tried filezilla and did not see the option to load two ftps and transfer between them...I was wondering then is there another 360 ftp server to run that would be FlashFXP friendly?

Yeah, unfortunately it's not supporting remote to remote transfer. I haven't found anything which does.

I do it in 5 game blocks. I transfer 5 to the pc. Then I'll start the next 5 to the pc while upping the first 5 from the pc to the 2nd jtag.

If you have the open sata ports on your pc, what about just removing the hdd's from the shells and hooking them up to the pc and then using one of the 360 hdd managers.
