You can get the Ultimate Game Pass upgrade right now for $1, as mentioned recently at E3. Today I bought two years worth of XBox Live Gold to add to my account as I read on Reddit that people are stacking up subscriptions and then using the $1 upgrade to get the Ultimate Pass for the same amount of time from their previous subscription. Now for what I paid for XBox Gold (2 years and the 71 days I had left plus the two One Month free for just having AutoRenew on) I get Ultimate for the same amount of time for a $1 more. I don’t have to pay for Live, XBox Game Pass or the new PC Game Pass until the holiday 2021 season. I know that you can’t have more than 36 months worth of XBox Gold/Game Pass for more than 36 months of Ultimate Pass (36 months is the max amount of time though). I saved about $410 doing it this way instead of purchasing the $1 upgrade first as then you don’t get the 1:1 ratio.
