? Text Tutorial ?

  1. Go to the Los Santos Customs
  2. Go to respray and select primary color then select any chameleon paint job
  3. Go to metallic paint jobs and hover over any color
  4. Now change something on the vehicle
  5. Go back to pearlescent and add any pearlescent of your choice

I’m confused why you back out of mod shop and come v be ack in? I thought you were able to apply pearlescent on top of chameleon after you hovered metallic and changed one item.

you can also apply the chameleon paint then apply crew color and it will keep the prismatic pearlescent (but I'm sure most people already knew that).

this glitch is a glitch, but many new comers will do this and call it modded. over and over and over. yes, technically speaking it is now scratched, but its still a glitch.

From the sounds of it this sounds like the old crew colour glitch. Anybody try it? Put on matte black (for matte crew) or brushed black steel (for extremely shiny crew), then hover over any metallic paint, then go back and change something (let's say headlights) then when you go back and apply the crew colour it actually pastes overtop of whichever coat you put (matte or shiny)

So when applying the crew colour on eg Matte will not change the texture like on PS4?
The crew colour on PS4 overwrites the texture to Util2 but keeps the pearl

It’s very similar. The pearlescent on chameleon paint looks great and there are tons of customization options with this.

the texture will change. they are referring to an old glitch, which MAY work on PC. not on consoles. if you want your crew on top of a diff texture, you must do a beff glitch

Hi everyone.

I'm not going to sugar-coat it this time; going off-topic too much will reward you with a nice little vacation from this thread.

Listen; We don't care if a car gets "ruined" or not with this exploit. It's an exploit and it should be here. The people who deeply care about "clean" cars would never attempt this exploit in the first place, so repeated comments about "DON'T DO THIS IT CREATES SCRATCHED CARS" are pointless.
Perhaps one might be able to combine annother exploit with this one to get a sweet result? Who knows.

For now, at least try to help each other out without throwing assumptions and insults at each other. No one likes to read that, and it ultimately leads to nowhere.

Thanks!
