Solved Cant ping xbox from computer? (Tried setting up 360 neighborhood)

I want to RTH with Halo Reach, and installed the SDK and xbdm.xex plugin, everything is fine. But xbox 360 neighborhood won't detect the console. After looking it up online for a while, they suggested to try to ping the ip from my computer, and it failed. Funny part is that I have xlink set up just fine with FSD, and I could RTH before with the older versions of ascension before they needed the xbdm plugin. Any suggestions?

How is your computer and xbox connected to the router? Are they both wired?
