Hi,

So I have this corona v1, I am using a demoN to read/write the nand as the normal SPI pads were damaged. I do not have the original nand so I was following this tutorial on how to build a new nand from scratch however I cannot get it to boot xell. The console 'beeps' however it does not light up nor is anything displayed on the screen. I stripped a working glitch chip (Ace V3) from a different console temporally so I dont think its the glitch chip. I am currently phone-less so I cannot take any photos of the soldering however a demon wire install is relatively difficult to do without half decent soldering skills and so I do not believe soldering is an issue (Obviously wouldn't rule it out though, everyone makes mistakes).

What I have tried:
  • Erasing and re writing the nand
  • Re-soldering the glitch chip
  • A different power supply
  • Writing to the demon nand and trying to boot from that instead (didnt work)
What I have not tried:
  • Removing everything including the demoN and starting fresh
  • a different glitch chip
  • A different donor nand

Thanks in advance

Aight so I removed the demon and now it turns on... sorta.

The middle green light turns on for around 15-20 seconds and then I am met by a red dot.

Too many variables! nand points burnt , using demon to read and write nand , lost the original nand , no pictures ... would be next to impossible to help without pics

See if i can borrow someone's phone to take some pics for starters .
