What do you guys think? I know the EquINoX iHD needs work but can you give me any other advice?

Maybe put a bit more light behind the LooNeZ text. and maybe bring the EquINoX iHD text to the front into the light just so you can see it more. Overall i think it needs a bit more work but i give it a 6/10

This is true, but the lighting in the piece is coming from the middle outwards. he definitely got his lighting correct.

It's coming out from under the "LooNeZ"
you can see the highest point of concentrated light right below it.
And besides, I'm pretty sure that Cinema 4D automatically shades it for you, determined by where you put your light source.
I might be wrong though.

you can see the highest point of concentrated light right below it.

You are correct, the shadow is shaded automatically after the placement of the light source
In C4D. In this piece, there are two light sources, one under the "LooNeZ" and one high above the sig to give area lighting. So the shadows are going different ways on both pieces of text because there are two light sources.
