I'm buying a new laptop. My price range is anything less than 600$. My primary priority is video editing, and Gfx. My secondary priority is gaming. Any suggestions? I want the most bang for my buck.

I like HP laptops. Something like this, for the price, would probably do well. My HP, which is cheaper than that, can run a decent amount of games fairly smoothly, but nothing amazing. Asus also makes fantastic laptops.

I would recommend this.
But it is just above $600.

Also another good option that IS below $600 here.

Hardcore gaming wont be an option with any of the 2 laptops mentioned in the post above. Nvidia m series video cards are VERY weak :S I don't know about video editing etc.

Well how much hardcore gaming can you really get with under $600 on a laptop.. ;P

Also for video editing, a good graphics card would be nice. But you need a good amount of CUDA cores for video editing.
A good processor for faster rendering, and a good amount of RAM. Because editing a 2gb HD video in real time isn't fun with only 3gb of RAM.

You won't get anywhere with a 600m series video card  See it as this, we have the series 610 to 690 i believe. You can rate them from 1 to 9 with 630m being a 3 on the scale :S I've bought a ASUS laptop for college which was 840 euros (Worst deal ever..) Intel core i5-3219m 2.6ghz 6gb ram 750gb hdd. The laptop itself is fast as f***

650m's aren't too bad. My friend has one in his Lenovo IdeaPad Y500 and it's pretty bada** to be honest.

Well I already have 4gb of Ram. So that shouldn't be a problem.

So out of all the options that people have posted, can someone give me a "This is the right one" answer? I wont be doing hardcore gaming. I have an Xbox for that. Im talking about Runescape or **** like that so it's no biggy. I just need something that won't explode while doing some AAE work.

650m blend perfectly with a decent cpu. You can run TES: Skyrim at medium setting 1600x900 (tweaked settings). I have a 610m and i'm playing Fallout New Vegas at max settings 1600x900. I don't game that much tho  I'd rather buy a gaming desktop=] Well i'm off to bed now  3am now =o Have a nice day mate

I wouldn't say it's the "right one". But it will do what you want for the price you want.

Any computer suggested would be fine. It would be able to run AAE very smoothly.

I was checking out the first computer you posted for 669.99, and it's an Acer. I've heard that Acer is a bad computer. I don't know why, but is this true? And if so why?

Acer has the worst coolers ever made, they overheat in 5 minutes and we don't want that do we . Try to look for laptop from Asus. I have one and they're really good and they're not so expensive

Well I would but I honestly don't know what to look for.. I don't know what makes a processor good, or graphics cards. Hell I don't even know if those are the important things to look for. That's why I made this thread

Overheating kills the delicate electronics on the motherboard. WE DON'T WANT THAT  Find a laptop (other then a Acer ) for the price you're looking for and do some research on the parts that the laptop has  Really, this is a awesome way to know what it's good for =] And it's always critical to do a second research because i wouldn't buy a laptop that some dude on the forum recommended me  I want to know if it's really good. Google the parts and read some reviews about it before coming to a final conclusion. Let me tell you this, find some laptops and post the links here  I'll look at it and give you my opinion and i'll do some research to if you'd like that. =]
