Here is the build I am currently working on to go with the new cards.

MB: ASUS PRIME B550-PLUS
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3080
Case: Rosewill Cooligan MX Blue (No link, it is no longer for sale)
Cooler: MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R + 4 Case fans
Memory: CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB 4000
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G+

This is the 3rd and most expensive computer I have ever built. So what does everyone think?

Looks like it’s going to be awesome!
If you don’t mind sharing what is this build costing you?

Roughly $1,846 without the cost of the drives that I already have.

Beef up the PSU to 1000w to be safe, you'll still have 91+ power efficiency but these 3000 series cards drink blood (power). Also, go for an AIO that has 280mm fans, not 240mm, trust me.

The PSU may need 1000w or more because 30 series cards have a power spike as Linus Sebastian showed in one of his vids. If you did do this build let me know how things are working out for you.

I am going to upgrade to a 1000w PSU at the same time as I get the 3080 (I feel like I could win the lottery first).
I am currently also building an office/game room so I can get my consoles and pc out and free up some space in my bedroom.

Images as of today (Sorry for the messy photos)

Just a little bit of an update, while I wait for the 3080 shortage to pass, I found a cheap 1080 to replace my 610 and it came with a full water cooling kit.
I can play games in my library now.

Yes, yes it is, the last one I bought lasted me 6 years. I bought a bigger one with time.
