I would say upgrade to a 3570K for use of PCIe 3.0 and for newer technology, it's only ~$20 more than a 2500K unless you aren't overclocking then just go with a 3570 and drop the aftermarket heatsink as it's not needed. I would then upgrade your motherboard to an ASRock Z77 Extreme 4.

You don't need 16GB of RAM trust me, 8GB will be efficient for gaming, general use and even some rendering.

Any particular reason for a soundcard? The Extreme 4 has adequate sound for your typical headphones.

I personally would say go with a Antec 302 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129180 for some room for cable management or an Antec Gaming Series One http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129181 both cases will give you some nice options for cable management.

I would probably upgrade your PSU to at least 500W, at suggestion would be - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817256061

I personally would reconsider the whole build. If you were wanting a $1,000 build that would run games much better than the HD7770 then take a look a this; http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=27820068 (Credit to InfectHead for the build.) You would need to get rid of the peripherals including Windows you had in your old build but it would be worth as it's a great gaming rig. If you were spending $1,080 you could still get the monitor as it only costs $974 for InfectHead's $1,000 build, plus you can get a few peripherals while you're at it. You can just pirate windows as it's just a waste of $100. I would strongly recommend going with that build as it's a much better build for the money you're paying and the GPU will rip through games.

Grab a 2500k. Whether or not you want to overclock the second you get it is up to you...but in a few years time when the CPU starts fading out, that's when you can get a moderate overclock so it'll save you from upgrading.

P67/Z68/Z77 support overclocking, H61/H67 do not. Grab a MSI Z77 G43 / ASRock Extreme4.

Drop down to an 8GB kit of low profile RAM. The heatsinks look like crap and serve zero purpose.

You're overpaying for that 7770. You could get a 6870 for the same price or a superior 7850 for not much more.

Antec One / HAF 912 / Zalman Z9 / Bitfenix Shinobi are all in the same price range but are better cases.

Low end sound cards are useless and have zero advantage over on-board sound. A lot of them are littered with driver problems.

Switch that over to a 550w XfX unit.

At least get a 1080p monitor to actually push the system...21.5'' 1920 x 1080 Acer panels can be found at $110.

Pirate Windows.

Overpriced KB.

Wireless mice should be avoided at all costs.

The build at its current state is terrible.

What exactly is this build for, and what's your total budget?
