Is it possible to bridge while connected to xbox live through a laptop?

Yes, you don't necessarily have to bridge through a router.
Instead of Cain n Abel, maybe use just ZAP and Commview.
You don't HAVE to do the Half-Routing to Full-Routing, raise firewall to HIGH thing to bridge.
All you need to know are the times you use between lowering your firewall to MEDIUM and raising it to HIGH during the "Setting Up Match" screen.

For this method you must also have a crossover cable and you bridge your conections so that it allows you to connect to Xbox Live.
