Does anyone know what car I'd need to merge if i have a khanjali tank in my arena how would I get the dolla dolla Livery on it?
We don’t have enough livery’s on the hotring Sabre for that
Needs a Akuma plane
So for short we can’t easily
But if you get a car from a gctf that has been merged with the akuma before you can I suppose

Yes you do because certain numbers gives different outcomes on different vehicles

So if you look at the sets your tank is in set one
Dolla dolla is number 41
The hotring will only go to 31
That’s the dilemma

This is very simple. Everything above 31 in set 1 is a 1 to 1 transfer. Take any vehicle in set 1 with a livery above 31 and magic slot it onto the new set 1 vehicle you want the livery on.

But how do you get anything above 31? That's what I'm confused about

Like i said. Its one to one. Here is an example.

Say you want a dolla dolla ardent and you have a dolla dolla nightshark. Put the ardent on the magic slot and use the nightshark to transfer the livery.

Any questions on flipping livery look up made man thug. He just released a new livery flipping video very recently.

Like i said. Its one to one. Here is an example.

But the problem for most is getting that number 41 livery to begin with so that leaves gctf to obtain it
And then merge it on to other vehicles within set one
Not sure where the magic spot comes in
But if you had or could make a magic spot with the 41st livery
These questions wouldn’t exist

Here's an easier way to think about liveries.

It's pretty simple once you get it. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm also trying to understand this.

Every vehicle has ONE "livery number" selected for it, like 31, or 25... just a number. This gets saved on the vehicle when you select a livery in the mod shop. Each livery option corresponds to a number - depending on the vehicle.

Each vehicle has a different "map" of the liveries it can have, from number -> texture. The number is saved on the vehicle, and transfers (as the same number) when merged over to another vehicle. Then the new / target vehicle will then use it's own "map" to show a texture depending on that number.

For the list of vehicles that OP calls "set 1", there happens to be the exact same values for number/texture 22-41. Again, this is the following vehicles:

aa trailer
akula
apc
ardent
avenger
barrage
chernobog
dune fav
half-track
insurgent pickup custom
khanjali
nightshark
oppressor
rcv
revolter
technical custom
thruster
weaponized tampa

And the map for those vehicles is:
(initial 21 skipped - varies per vehicle)

22- skulls

26: "22 Auto Exotic"
27: "29 Weazel Network"
28: "16 Burger Shot"
29: "45 Sprunk X-treme"
30: "61 Ragga Rum"
31: "5 Power Metal"

First, don't worry about the number in the name for the hotring. For example, the "5" in "5 Power Metal". That's just the painted number on the car. Forget about it.

The trick is that you can actually select any number up to 31 in the mod shop for this particular car. So you get to pick numbers 22-31 and can save it to the car. The number can then be merged to any other car. And a different livery will be shown - depending on that vehicles map, as written above.

What about numbers 32 - 41 then?
You need a vehicle with that number saved to it already. Then you could merge it to another vehicle. You could have a car with a number 35 livery from a previous glitch, for example. Or from a special (official) unlock from rockstar during an event week, or preordering RDR2, for example. Exactly HOW you got a vehicle with value 32-41 is out of the scope for this post. I don't know of any ways to do it NOW without having a car already.

Examples:
  • Skulls texture on Ardent: Select the livery number 22 (named "34 Cover Up Paints") on Hotring sabre. Use it as donor car.
  • Skulls texture on Menacer: Not possible, it's not listed in its' map.
  • Dolla dolla on Patriot: Use livery number 31 (named "5 Power Metal") on hotring sabre, then use it as donor.
  • Dolla dolla on Weaponized Tampa: Use a vehicle that already has "dolla dolla" and is in the "set 1" list, or any vehicle that you know has livery number 41. You need to get a car from GCTF or already have it!

Your over thinking it. But if you dont have the livery unlocked the only way to get one is GCTF. Which is nothing new. Like I mentioned. Dont over think it. Its not rocket surgery. Watch a few videos and it should make more sense.

Your over thinking it. But if you dont have the livery unlocked the only way to get one is GCTF. Which is nothing new. Like I mentioned. Dont over think it. Its not rocket surgery. Watch a few videos and it should make more sense.
I’m not sure who’s really the one overthinking it
But oh well

Oh and I think I meant akula earlier not akuma

Also yes merging works to. Best to have an insurgent pickup, that is if you want to change wheels to. The insurgent pickup is a bennys car believe it or not. So 1 to 1 you livery to the insurgent and change the wheels then 1 to 1 it to the new vehicle. Must be in set 1.

If you merge a Benny’s vehicle with the Benny’s upgrade
to a Benny’s vehicle that hasn’t had the upgrade yet
Does the receiving car take the Benny’s upgrade?
Like merging a stock elegy with a retro?
I actually haven’t tried yet lol
Even my elegy came from a Panto

no i tried it last night after i won the casino car which comes from bennys and it didnt upgrade

I have all the pre- Benny's cars on Benny's. I just thought it was funny to have them laying around.
