You're a week late on that request, I sold it to a local guy to help pay for the EVGA 1080ti.

At stock it's better than the EVGA at stock so once I try an overclock it'll for sure overtake the EVGA as well.

You're making me want to try overclocking my 1080 again I had it over 2100 mhz at one point when ****ing around with mining lol

Haha go for it man! I only overclocked this card to see if it was hitting what most people with it were hitting, but I don't plan on keeping it at that. For the 1080ti you only gain ~5% and it's just not worth it.

I might, the gigabyte software is **** thats the biggest reason I stopped messing with it. The overclock was weird when I last tried it, anything higher than the 2100 and my gpu drivers would crash, even tho my temps were still below 40c

I assume thats just a limitation with overclocking and how different cards are? I assumed you could go crazy as long as your temps were fine

Some cards overclock better than others, it really just depends on the silicone lottery (similar to CPU overclocking). The GPU drivers crashing means that the card couldn't handle the speed so it crashes as a way to save you. The temps are helpful for keeping it from thermal throttling you down and to protect the overall integrity of the card.

So I did a thing and decided to join the GSync master race. The Dell S2716DGR was on sale for $350 at Bestbuy and I couldn't resist. 1440P @ 144hz with GSync is amazing

I love it, but when I upgrade the main components, i'll upgrade the case as well and get something more simple yet sleek.

I was waiting on the 9th gen Intel chips to come out. They took longer than expected, but my vision of what the build will look like is beautiful.
