This applies to people who have downloaded the Fort Knoxx DLC.

Due to the 2/23/10 update this thread and its information will not work on multiplayer. Any "invalid" (modded) weapons will not be functional or existant in the game. This is to my knowledge of the patch. I can't just test it out at the moment since I don't have borderlands anymore.

--If there are workarounds, PM me about it and I'll update this post!!--

There are workarounds to this update, according to a weapons modder. READ THIS BEFORE CREATING OR USING WEAPON DATA PRIOR TO THE 2/23 UPDATE!

Is it possible for SharpGhost or a mod to update the first post with the new guidelines for modded weapons?

I'm having some minor success but I don't know what exactly the boundaries are. So far it seems:
- All parts must be for the same weapon
- All parts must from the same manufacturer (where applies)
- Only one acc allowed at a time.

That's all I got.

Oh and I forgot (since I can't edit):
- No parts can be applied more than once.

This thread is dedicated to those who are creating weapons for Borderlands.

Include all parts of the weapon, and what effects it has added to it. For example if you created a new machine pistol with "TheDove" part on it add that it now has Infinite Ammo.

Add tips and creative twists to creating weapons also!

Dont have it anymore. Ive been screwing with the same weapon instead of making a collection. Mostly been screwing around trying to test the limits of stuff. I did find out one important thing though. If you are changing some things and your gun gets stuck in a level 0 format then you need to change the manufacturer. Manufacturer and item grade are closely linked so if you get stuck at level 0 keep that in mind.

I've had that happen to me a couple of times, never thought to change manufacturer though.

I made a Revolver that does 2300 something damage, and shoots the boom stick rockets. With a 74 clip.

Still trying to figure out if a Rocket SMG is possible..

Does anyone know a "quad shot" barrel or acc? I've been trying get a shotgun to have a x20 multiplier and I know I've seen x4 on submachine guns.

Yeah I've got a 144x4 smg that does work. It shoots insanely fast and fully auto. I also have ammo regen and spiral bullets on it.

Shotgun, I don't think it's possible to get a revolver up to x20.

I have got a revolver up to x13 by adding two acc2_Masher parts, the accuracy (55.4) sucks though.
