Black Ops Error that could lead to Modding!

So this is how I went down. I started Black Ops and went to Multiplayer. When I hit XBOX LIVE it did its usual obtaining hotfixes loading screen. Then it went to Black Screen and displayed this error!

I have the game installed so it isn't an error involving scratches on the disk...
What do you think of it!
I used a Dvar for the WhiteList ages ago but it didn't do much. Now this could help more.

it probably didn't let you play correct?

All this means is where it places the hotfix in the cache it just had an error and couldn't replace the dvarwhitelist text file with the latest version and said sorry you can't play.

Since he doesn't seem to be replying, Yes it did let him play after. We're also working on getting the data from the hdd.

And btw, the error just removes the whitelist. AND ALSO, you guys must not have thought that the whitelist is a text file so it is possible unsigned. Unless it is in an .FF

And good luck getting files from your cache, considering they get deleted when you go off the default_mp.xex

I see what your saying pro but I have never even heard of this whitelist.txt guessings it's a list of dvars. It would need to be somewhere in the iso take a look around.
