Bing / Google / <any search engine here> ads for a #CODBlackOps BETA are not official ads. As always, if I don't say it, it's not official!

To me the ads looked real enough so he must be lying, Hes just trying to cover up the leaks.

People can buy advertising slots, and change the link that is displayed to whatever they want.

It could say "COD Black Ops Beta Keys for the Sept, 1 release!" with the link "CallofDuty.com" but actually send you to "blackopsbetakeys.net."

Nobody would waste money doing that. Those ads will get a lot of clicks, google and bing are pay per click, so anyone other than the Cod team would be paying a lot of money for nothing.

You can provide a budget, and if you look at the fake beta code sites, they generate revenue using those annoying surveys.

I'm not talking about the fake beta code sites. The adds that look real only lead to www.callofduty.com/beta.
