Well I can only speak with what I’ve had before so I recommend.

A Astro headset *Any of them*
Also any Scuf controller. Choose one that suits you.

If you don't want a headset as expensive as Astro I've heard a lot of good things about Plantronic Rig headsets that I hear are just as good as any other headsets. For a controller, get a Scuf or an Elite controller if you want extra paddle buttons on the back if not just go for a normal controller as the paddles aren't necessary.

Hyper X Cloud II is my favorite headset I have ever owned.

The adaptive controller is really sweet, definitely the most customizable.

Stock controller is very good, might be on a smaller size for me, but it's good quality, MS knows how to make controllers, not like Sony. You could buy fancy, limited edition xbox one controller.

Headphones: beyerdynamic dt770, will smoke any gaming headset on the market. Closed headset design, super sound quality - used in studios. I have DT880, but sound might be a bit dry for your taste, and is open design - leaks sound a lot, and you can hear surroundings.

It depends, people have different opinions.
I like the standard XB1 controller and my TurtleBeach XOFOUR Stealth headset.

I guess you could go to a store and try different one's out and see which one you like the best...

I've had these Hyper X Cloud II's for a while now and I have no complaints about them. Imo controller doesn't matter as I just use the standard one, but if you have the money to splurge go with a scuf.

Had many..Astro A50 and Elite controller.

Didnt like the scuff as it was not as customizable as the elite.

I would say an Xbox Elite controller is the best because I own two.
The issue with them outside of the $150 price tag is they are notorious for the left bumper breaking due to a design flaw.
I have had to replace the left bumper on each of my elite controllers which is a farce considering the cost.
In addition I have recently purchased “Amazon basics” wired Controllers. Great price and well constructed if you want a simple wired controller that’s a good way to go:wink:

**I know this is late**
Best Controllers: Xbox one elite, Scufs if you can front the costs, and there are plenty of mixed reviews on them as well.
*Elite: Bumpers are ****, they break easily and can easily be replaced. Only downside is the price of them
As for headesets here's a big complied list with everything you'll ever need :
