Well I have had my new laptop for nearly a month now. It came with Norton(2 month trial) and with a month left I think its time to start looking for a permanent one before it too late

so leave your suggestions please!

Thanks

I use Avast and it works really well considering that it's free.

Norton is fine but it hogs resources...badly. Some ISPs give free full antivirus software. Comcast gives norton, Time warner McAfee just check your ISPs website. As for best well you get what you pay for and free isn't much.

Norton tends to delete a lot of .exe files on me. Do you know how to shut that off? I have the payed version =P
