That's what I've got so far for my (mostly) gaming machine. Shipping is another $50 or so. Trying to stay under or around a $1300 budget, already have accessories from my current computer.
    Any opinions?

I'd upgrade the graphics card to a 4850 or 4870.

Yes the 4850 and 4870 are better than the 9800GT.

    ****ING FAIL.

First of all, right now DDR3 is just expensive crap that is worse than DDR2 at price/performance. There is no reason to have DDR3 unless you have a blank check.

Second of all, it's solid STATE drive. And those are crap right now for the exact same reason as DDR3.

Well newegg.com is american, and shipping over the border would cost crazy custom's fees

If you spend over 1k on one order, go to the live chat and ask the customer service guys to discount your shipping. Sometimes they will hook you up, you have way better chances now that we're so close to christmas.

I found all the parts and added them to a cart on newegg.ca and without shipping its 1,008 and that also excludes the Assembly.
