I’d also have MW2 remastered.
Or at least a completely wiped version of the game specifically for next-gen to eradicate deranking.

I'd have mw2 remaster without supply drops like if that would ever happen lol.

Backwards will be also good but the game won't ever get updated which is probably the down side of thing's

Guarantee they'd end up ruining it like they did with Modern Warfare Remastered, Supply Drop central & re-purchasing Map Packs which should've been included with the remastered version.

As much as I'd want the original game, backwards compatibility will probably just fill it with modders. If they remastered it, they'd add in their annoying a** supply drops and their other money-hungry tactics. Would be cool to have an exclusive version for next gen, fresh start, no previous gen players or supply drops, which I think was mentioned above.

I'm going to somewhat cover what G Giraffez just touched base on, if the game would become backward compatible it would just be filled with modders, for example, look at Bo2 I might have played one game without being in with a modder but the next one had one. I would much rather a remasted version because even if they fill it with money-hungry tactics at least you wouldn't have to put up with 12yr old modders.

Well that's happening to almost every game now with supply drops and with map packs having to rebuy them again is what I hate. But you are right it probably get runined

Then add millions of annoying gun grips to rip you off even more.

Most likely, but in my statement I was referring to having the original game available for next gen (no changes or updates), but without backwards compatibility. The chances of it happening are pretty much none, but it’s a nice thought IMO.

Expected Upcoming Releases

We expect to release World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth and our latest Call of Duty game in the second half of 2018. In addition, we expect to deliver ongoing content for our various franchises, including expansion packs for Hearthstone and Destiny 2 , in-game events for Overwatch , and map packs for Call of Duty: WWII , as well as releases of remastered versions of titles from our library of IP. We also expect to release at least two new mobile titles during 2018, including a social casino game from King.

I rather have backwards compatible than remastered myself too ... too many changes happen when they remaster games ... and on top of that if you get backwards compatible games you get to play all the dlc you had before instead of having to pay for it right ? So backwards-comp for the win ....

I would rather have cod mw2 remastered rather then compatible. One of the big reasons is because their will be to many Moders in mw2 ruining the experience for players on Xbox one. I would much rather pay £40/£50 for the remastered version to ensure that I don’t get in a lobby full of modders
