Ubisoft's latest installment in the Assassin's Creed series (for last generation consoles) has been leaked. The leak has given us information that the game will is set to release on November 11th and the leaked information has also shown us a trailer of the game. Throughout the trailer we observe what seems to be the protagonist pacing through grass at first but then into an icy climate where he draws a gun and points it at another man who is laying on the ground. At the very end of the trailer it shows us a few things like "The Ultimate Hunter Pack" and "The Seige of Fort De Sable Mission" which are most likely set to appear as pre-order bonuses.
Assassin's Creed Rouge was also leaked online a few days ago but had a release date of October 28th which is the same day Assassin's Creed Unity is set to be released. The listing showed off nothing more then the name of the game and the release date. It was also listed for the PS3 but with today's leak we know the game will be available on both Xbox 360 and PS3.
The leaked trailer makes it look like a pirate theme is set to return in Assassin's Creed Rouge judging from the fact that the "Ultimate Hunter Pack" includes what looks like a ship, a steering wheel for a ship and 2 swords. The mission which was also showcased at the end of the trailer looks like it is on a ship of some sort which also indicates the return of a pirate themed Assassin's Creed.
Another surprise is that it is very likely the protagonist of Assassin's Creed Rouge is a Templar. Through the trailer the Templar logo is present on the weapons and the clothing the man showcased in the trailer is wearing. The Templar is rumored to be named Shay but that is not confirmed.
Here is the leaked trailer. The uploader claims there was no audio so he put a soundtrack over the video.
This new Assassin's Creed seems very interesting and unusual since we have never had a Templar as the main protagonist in a major Assassin's Creed release. The official reveal may be coming sometime this week or next week at Gamescom in Cologne. What do you guys think? Do you think a Assassin's Creed game with a Templar as the protagonist is a good idea? Leave your thoughts down below.
