We're making an open-source map editor supporting Halo 3, Reach, and eventually Halo 4. Don't worry about itStill nothing on the asset extraction front? I've had a poke myself but without the source files for this (got it all for xTraction, so I know roughly what needs doing) I can't do an entire lot :/
And yes, I realise it's not modding :/
But - and don't answer this if you can't release details right now - will it be able to export the model files into a usable (.obj?) format for those of us wanting to use those assets in animations, as xTraction did with the [MODE]-tagged files?
