Well, I own an iPod Touch 2G with 3.0 firmware. I recently updated Durak, an amazing but simple eastern european card game that I've been playing since childhood.
I updated it and it kept crashing. Desperate to find out why, I started research, App Store informed me that Durak requires 3.1.2 or higher to function properly, which clearly explained why mine didn't.
So, I backed up my music, upgraded to 3.1.3, restored to 3.1.2 and used blackra1n to jailbreak my device. Downloaded Cydia, App Cake, Installous, OpenSSH and SBSettings.
I then SSH'd into my device via WinSCP and dropped in the latest Durak into:
/private/var/mobile/downloads
It's the Installous installtion folder. I then tried to install the app on Installous, it keeps saying the IPA file is corrupt. Fine. Downloaded a few more games, dropped them in and still the same thing. App Cake installs them within like a second or two and they are not on the dashboard.
I don't know what I am doing wrong, or what I am forgetting to do but someone please help me.
Thanks
