Ok so i have a laptop but it doesnt have any sata ports or a place for that one chipset thing that you can use. So i was wondering if there was any other way i could flash my dvd drive

You can get hold of a Sata > USB converter i guess. As long as Jungle Flasher works with USB ports.
i was looking around and saw some people said those work and said they dont so i dont want to get one unless it works

As both above have said, the Xbox360USB Pro is the way forward. They are cheap enough and makes flashing every drive a walk in the park from a laptop.
