Useless? Yes, but it's still nice to be able to do. Is there any way to prestige in CT after TU8?

No sir. Treyarch is known for patching useless glitches for no reason. i guess they want us to buy map packs for there horrible xbox live, instead of killing bots n prestiging... That my friend is a sure sign of a garbage company.

Well, yes, they patch useless glitches but their XBL isn't horrible, it's only bad if you can't play without stopping power / danger close / juggernaut / Commando / OMA / 'tubes. If you're referring to lag then I don't see your problem. I always have 4 bars. Try searching locale only, if that doesn't work consider getting a better connection.
