Is there anyway to duplicate the customers cars or merge them onto a car slot without changing anything on them. Most of these cars have been arriving with unique paint and matching wheel color. I would like to save them without changing the paint. Ive been dropping them to gc2f spot with wheel color saved. But if its possible to save the body paint i want to take full advantage of it.

I haven't thoroughly tested this but I was curious about this as well. As a test I "merged" the service car the second I came in glitched, backed out of the job, and spammed triangle. The car stayed the same as it was when I entered the shop. I never took a donor in to the mod shop. It didn't turn black or anything and I was able to get in and out. If this is repeatable you would just dupe it like you do the merged ones. Good luck, let us know what happens. If you can't replicate it I'll mess with it again.

you can steal the customer cars with a friend to help you.
1 accept deliver car but do not deliver car have a friend watch the vehicle while you go offline to stop the mission.
2 come back to session and Gctf the car .
Note your friend will be able to get into the car after you left session

Yea i do that. But this is not an answer to my question. I want to be able to save the car without having to respray the original paint as it arrived

Don’t respray it when you customize it.
Mod it as you like it not as the customer wants it.
Then take it via GCTF.
That is the simplest solution to your question.
In all honesty none of the paints on the customer cars are rare or unselected paints in my opinion.
I don’t think I would go through the effort to take them but that’s just me.

How do you get around not respraying the vehicle all the other options are greyed out for me and can not continue. Also customer cars show with non LSC paint and pearl from time to time. Ive had several show up with matte/worn type texture with pearl with matching wheel color. I have garages full if wheel colors that are not on the list of 41 colors at LSC.

Well then.
As far as I know there is no public method for what you are trying to do.
There are car to service car merges.

Im a try that out. These services cars are coming in with worn paint with pearl sometimes and it would be sick to keep them since they have matching wheel color as well.
