I have been playing tons of public events yet I always seem I am the only person ever at the public event. I find that this occurs the most on Nessus. I find it hard to believe that there is nobody else playing in this spot when the game has tons of players on at one time. But when the events are in a spawn area I find it harder to believe that no one else is going to it at that time. I can find players in other areas but as soon as I go to a public event I am the only player.

I agree. A lot of the public events, while really not that difficult in retrospect, are next to impossible solo.

Yes I find the only ones that I can solo are the servitor and spider tank

I'm also finding this issue, even on earth. If I come across a public event that others aren't at, I've started to avoid them as much as I can unless I'm partied up with others.

Now though, when I spawn in I wait around for a couple of minutes to see if other ransoms spawn in, then attempt to party up and proceed from there.

I am finding that going to public events as soon as they show up with the 5 minutes before it starts gives the best chances of finding at least one other person.

It is still affecting a lot of people who haven't played a lot or just getting the game.

Arrive a little before or after it starts. There are also things to take into consideration (networking stuff) that might be affecting your matchmaking.

Yeah, we have seemed to figure that out you would think they would throw overflow into empty servers instead of making public events 6+ players in one area. It just gets me upset to see no one else in the area when I randomly find an event while I'm in the middle of doing something.

From what I've been reading, tried a few times, sometimes worked sometimes not, if you fast travel away and come back to where the public is your spawned in a new "instance" which refreshes the area and may help you enter it where other players are. There's likely always people at the same public you're at just by how many people are playing, but they spawn over a variety of "instances" and when you do it the public is still in the same position it was before, but sometimes theres people there.

You can actually just fast travel to the same waypoint over and over and it'll put you in a new instance. Saves time from fast traveling to a different waypoint.

I can't say I've had the same issue. To be fair I've only played about 6 hours, with probably about 4 of those doing public events because they're pretty fun. I've always had at least one random with me, on multiple occasions there were 4+ of us randomly doing publics. I did have times when I started the event solo, but there was always someone that jumped in to help out.

I am finding that my low-level characters are finding more people in the public events, but my higher light/power characters are having a much more difficult time to even when fast traveling to the same location doesn't help. The only way to get more people is to have good RNG and get to the public event when it first appears in the directory.

I just fast travel to the same area until I find someone. And sometimes if it's an easy event I'll keep traveling to the same area after I finish the event and get in another server with people who are in the middle of it.

Sadly I do not have this luck. Same goes with the glitch for getting the public event multiple times.
