Discussion Adding ODST wont get you recon

Pretty much in the title
i tried, and it didnt work
i modded all the vidimasters to say online and timestamped them and so on and nothing lol
so dont waste your time and just get banned
i havent yet but its a matter of time

however entering basic training with a new account wearing rouge and katana waz fun

Theorys:
Bungie doesent have that enabled yet(most likely)
since i dont have camaign done on the new account it might have checked that

Well, seeing as Recon is server side, it would only work if Bungie made it unlock after you got the achievements right now. Seeing as they aren't that stupid, they are not going to turn it on until the game releases.

how did you add odst to an offline just wondering

and recon is not server-side the server just sends you a copy of your armor which overwrites recon if you have it after the recon offline flag is turned on

You have to link your account with Bungie.net to enable Recon after you get the vidmasters, link the tag really quick and see what happens.

I was gonna try this eventually since it seems like you just need to add a blank gpd with ODST's gameID to your profile and live will add the data for you when you sign in.

Unless I'm missing a step here.

obviously adding it won't just magickly give you recon bungie's already said that when you get the achievements there will be a thing like the bungie.net logo and you'll need to activate it on bungie.net just like that to be able to use recon

or you know... it could be like I was guessing, Recon could ship on the ODST disc, and when you get the achieves it unlocks on that disc

one thing... if you modded your account or what ever to say you have all the vids... you get banned cuz you dont have the damn rest of the mythic map packs!!!!

so ha...

the way to get recon is to get all the vids for halo3 and halo3 odst....

if you hack them or w/e you dont(first you dont have no game saying your one those maps....) lol so if you want to mod your account bungie just looks at your thingy on bungie.net and can see your recent playlist

...Why do noobs always believe that its THAT easy ?
You "only" add the ID to you GPDTable, sign into LIVE and recover your Tag.
Theres much more "under the hood" work, but thats "actually" all
