Acer Aspire One Laptop Question.

    I just bought a new Acer Aspire One laptop its really nice and really small it has a built in camera and built in microphone. i know i can use it for msn messenger and take pictures and stuff like that but can i just record videos normally?

    Almost all new laptops come with a built in mic/camera.

    To answer your question though, yes you should be able to record videos normally.
    My HP DV6000 has a built in cam like that and I can record videos.

    Yea but did you have to download somekind of program to make it record the videos or did it come with it? because the acer only comes with the "Ability" to take pictures....

    Go to like ustream.tv and set up an account and see if you can broadcast.

    You'll likely have to use some kind of video capture software. I don't believe mine came with that preinstalled either. If you want video chat on Skype, AIM, MSN, ustream, or something like that, it will work. But if you just want to record a video from that camera directly to your hard drive you'll need some kind of 3rd party software I think.
