I was playing Call of Duty the other day, and was thinking how awesome it would be to play quotes from movies or other sources as trash talk. Since I know how crappy putting your mic up to a speaker works (too many people trying to play their music to a game lobby).

My question is could you use a cord such as this (Link) to play sounds from an ipod/computer as if they were your mic?

What that does is that it lets you hook it up to the computer so you can upload your own phrases into it. And I think you can put up to 5. So when you connect it to your controller and press a button it plays the phrase that you uploaded.

i don't know if that will work (although i don't see why not) but they made a device for that called the Trash Talker made by Datel.

It came out a while back. But it gets pretty annoying when you play the same phrases over and over.:thumbdown:

Yeah, that's why it would still be cool to connect something with however many phrases as you could find.
