360 power cable....?

    ok so i just got a cheap xbox (rrod) but the power socket has got a square thingie poking up so i cant put my power cable in2 it, could i just snap it off and plug my cable into it? would this be work? :?

    No.. There is a reason that newer power supplies don't work on older systems. Your power supply will not be able to provide the power needed for the 360 to run.

    203 Watt power supplies work on all consoles <---- That is the power supply that you need
    175 Watt power supplies work on Falcon, Opus, Jasper, Valhalla
    150 Watt power supplies work on Jasper and Valhalla

    ok thanx, is there a certain name of this power cable so i could look on ebay, or do i jus search '203w power cable'

    Just search 203w power supply and you will find many. Probably cost around $20
