Discussion 2016 Preseason Marksmen to finally get stronger.

Updating Marksmen
Through the years, marksmen have lacked meaningful differences, with their identities typically centered on the same thing: do lots of damage from range. In cases like these, if you’re being judged on only one competition (damage), you get a pretty obvious power ranking with no real roster depth.

Our goal is similar to our work with juggernauts, where we targeted a group of champions (in this casesix marksmen - Corki, Miss Fortune, Graves, Caitlyn, Kog’Maw, and Quinn) who occupied similar strategic spaces, and gave them a little more ‘uniqueness.’ We’re doing this in two ways: how the marksman plays, and how the team plays with them. For the first, since marksmen are so concerned with their basic attacks we want to make sure each feels different. Should you have brought that shotgun to a javelin battle? Maybe! For the second approach, we want to really push the breadth of what a marksman offers. Much like how you pick Ashe for global stuns, or Sivir for when you gotta go fast, or Miss Fortune when you need some wombo for your combo, we want teams to think different based on who’s joining the fray.

Next season is going to be scary at the least. They are really going all out on these changes. Not sure if you saw the general game changes, especially with wards and the top lane. Feels as if we won't have as many 50+ minute games in the next season, especially with what they're trying to do with the top lane with the new buff monster.

Feels as if we won't have as many 50+ minute games in the next season, especially with what they're trying to do with the top lane with the new buff monster.
I'm actually looking forward to games that won't waste an hour of my time. Granted with all the changes this season, we can adapt to this one too. All it takes is some time.

Having played with a **** ton of kogs, he's annoying, but still an easy champ to destroy.

I don't mind, on the PBE however, people keep getting destroyed as him.
Just wait till people actually learn how to play kog, once you're caught in his slow and if he has his 4.0+ attack speed, you're donezo.

Thing with Kog you're basically rooted when attacking with 4-5 atk speed and with no escapes you are a sitting duck.

Thing with Kog you're basically rooted when attacking with 4-5 atk speed and with no escapes you are a sitting duck.
It's 5 autos per second, you won't be able to orb walk so yeah

ADC's are already too strong they just don't have strong displays of power like Darius does so people think Darius is op but not Vayne.

adc's don't really do damage until they get an infinity edge and some atk speed
However, champions like darius get an item that is sub 1500 gold that gives really good stats.
I mean anyone that gets 6 items is strong which is probably what you mean.

I don't think Darius is Strong at all though he is good but he is no where near as OP as people like Vayne.


Even check Winrates in plat+ Vaynes like 55% with a lower skillcap than most ADC's. Its stupid to say ADC's are underpowered.


Has anyone ever played against Headhunter Caitlyn? Her animations & sounds make her autos look harder sometimes even non game stuff like the sounds make her feel stronger.

With Darius you see him in your team & kill people quickly but you never notice all the times he gets kited and dies without getting a hit off.


With Vayne all you do is spam Q and right click being a melee like Darius actually takes skill just to counteract their kiting.
