As title. is this the norm? I just phoned up to ask for replacement of my day one controller because it feels like the screws aren't fully tight, it flexes and the shell halfs aren't lined up properly and got told it will cost me £10.

Ive sent back loads of 360 accessories in the past and no charge.

They don't offer any type of free method? I call BS on their part.

I guess it depends on how bad you need it fixed then.

Heh, now I just tried the online support to start a exchange and it says no charge. Guess the woman I spoke to has no clue about her job :rolleyes:.

I don't need it changed as it functions perfectly but I feel since what I paid everything should be perfect.

Yeah, I feel ya on that one. The reps are almost always idiots, no matter where yo go.

I've learned the flexing on the handles is normal as those pieces pop off. However my day one controller has a sticky Lt trigger. Gonna send it in

i know microsoft will repair or replace controllers or the kinect for a 90 day period, and microsoft will cover the xbox one for a year.

so i dont think it has been over 90 days since the xbox one was released, so microsoft should replace or repair your controller for free
