I have a PS3 running 4.86.1 REBUG LITE CFW with webman installed. I having been testing PS3 backups in different formats on external drive with success. FAT32 with file splitter if needed and iso on NTFS using webman. I am now planning on putting all of my backups on a new 8TB external HDD. Before I start heading too far down this road, which route would be best in the long run? NTFS with ISO or FAT32 with folder/split files? I want to avoid using the internal drive if possible.

ISO files will load faster, and will have no problems. extracted games can give major problems like - infinte loading screen (uncharted 3, gta 4 - updated version, ...), etc.
so go with NTFS and ISO.
