Thank you so much I just had some enquires.

Would you rate this build as a budget or half decent?

Is this build capable for the games I want to play?? Will I be able to stream fortnite & GTA and be playing 100 FPS ? I don’t want to be disadvanted as Id probably play some FPS games as well be running discord chat in background, I want to have the ability to play competitively though I can’t afford a huge price point p:

Considering even holding off to pay abit more money, just want it to be worth it please let me know what you think,

Its pretty much flawless you will be able to run & stream games no problem

Vega 56 gets about 145 FPS in GTA on Ultra with MSAA off. With MSAA on expect around 120-130fps

In Fortnite Vega 56 gets about 120fps maxed out (The game is not very well optimized)

In Apex Legends maxed out expect around 100fps (but huge gains turning down a few settings)

Most AAA titles like Battlefield will run far better while having far better graphics as they are optimized far better.

In a few years many AAA titles might have higher end settings that you won't be able to max out anymore on any current card but these days games have pretty good option sliders that you can have games looking pretty good on older hardware still

(Like you will be able to run max textures on high vram cards, but turn down lighting effects/shadows/reflections)

Streaming won't really hurt the 8 core 16 thread CPU in gaming that is the second best Streaming CPU you can really buy and its the best option.

If you feel confident you can also bios flash your Vega 56 into Vega64 bios to get better memory overclocks and gain big performance. But its solid stock anyways.

Is it hard to bios flash Bega 56 into Vega 64 what will that involve ?
Thanks a lot definately considering getting this build in a few weeks, was that all converted to 1500 AUD? Sounds like a steal

My reccomendation is to wait till July when AMD release the 3XXX series Ryzen processors and we see X570 mobos, reason being either the 3XXX series will be better, or there will be a huge price drop in both 2XXX series Ryzen and possibly even Intel CPUs. I'm going to be building a new rig but but not until August.

Also Ryzen benefits from faster RAM, it's best to pick a RAM kit that is specifically designed for the Ryzen platform, as it's very RAM sensitive and benefits more from faster speeds, so do some research.

Looking at ordering this perhaps in a fortnight or maybe sooner I’m really not up for waiting a few months kinda want it sooner Lol , i got recommended this by a friend prefix_NA

“I'd say get a 1660ti over the 56, especially as flashing it could cause problems, and void warranty, it has about the same performance”

In regards to what you said about flashing, Just wondering what you think about that

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor ($238.00 @ Shopping Express)
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG - H7 49 CFM CPU Cooler ($60.87 @ Kogan)
Motherboard: MSI - B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard ($178.00 @ Shopping Express)
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($125.51 @ Amazon Australia)
Storage: Samsung - 860 QVO 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($163.00 @ Austin Computers)
Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB OC Video Card ($559.00 @ Austin Computers)
Case: Fractal Design - Meshify C TG ATX Mid Tower Case ($135.00 @ Austin Computers)
Power Supply: Corsair - RMx 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($129.00 @ PC Byte)
Monitor: Samsung - LC27JG50QQNZA 27.0" 2560x1440 144 Hz Monitor ($449.00 @ PCCaseGear)
Total: $2037.38

Just over $2kAUD with a nice 1440p 144Hz monitor. A shade under $1600 without the monitor, and you should be able to get it around $1500 or less than $1500 if you swap the RTX 2060 for a Vega56 or GTX 1660Ti.

This is a pretty decent build if you can stretch about 1800 for it.
https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/k4ZJcY
CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Fan: Cooler Master - Hyper T4 70 CFM Rifle Bearing CPU Cooler
MOBO: ASRock - B450 Pro4 ATX AM4 Motherboard
RAM: G.Skill - Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
Storage: Samsung - 860 QVO 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive
GPU: MSI - GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB VENTUS Video Card
Case: Cooler Master - MasterBox Lite 5 ATX Mid Tower Case
PSU: Corsair - VS 450 W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply
Monitor: Acer - XF240H 24.0" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor

Total: $1842.40

This will hit your target FPS in pretty much everything.

If you want the extra power hold off on a monitor and go for a ryzen 2700 or the new i5 that performs like an i7 when it comes to gaming. Personally I had an i5 8600k and a GTX 1080 (the 2070 performs the same) and got mid hundreds on all games maxed out.

Thanks for the support and ideas everyone just an update I’ve been putting more money aside for it :smile: might place some orders soon not in any rush Definately will happen soon though!

Ok so this is unrelated but a mate sent me a pc he wanted to buy off Facebook lol, apparently it’s a mid range Pc valued at $1000 aud, these are the specs..

CPU=3570 k @4.2Ghz
CPU=RX580 8gb @1450 MHz + OC
8gb ddr3 Corsair Ven @ 1633Mhz
Cooler=Corsair H100i Vi
Coolermaster MW3 550 W 80+ Gold
Motherboard-Z77 Asus Sabertooth
Storage =120 GB ssd

Would this actually be worth him buying what do yous think??? My friend is pretty impulsive so I really need to know soon as for myself I’d much rather build the rig myself I really can’t wait
