I have recently found a desktop-friendly version of some album art that I absolutely adore, but there's a small issue: there's a square indicating where the album art starts and ends, as the rest of the image outside of the square isn't part of the cover art. I can't find the original image without the square anywhere, just this image. I tried removing it myself in Photoshop, but all I did was blur the pixels around the square and make those parts of the image look terrible. I know this request is terribly basic, but I am seriously this inept with Photoshop. I'll learn someday. Or not.
All I request is that the white square be omitted from the image while keeping the area around it intact. The square is pretty thin so I'm hoping this won't prove to be deceptively difficult in the event someone patronizes me and does this. Thanks to any lads mad enough to actually give this a try despite me providing no financial compensation for your wasted time.
