This game is terrible. Probably the absolute worst Call of duty title yet.
Advanced Warfare was by far the worst installment to the series. This game is alright once you give it some time. I didn't like it at first, but I gave it another shot a few months later... It is fun for the first 55 levels, but i don't see any point in prestiging/playing now that I'm max level.

War is fun, even if the team doesn't play objective. I can't play pub, too many campers, but at least this kinda forces people to play with more aggression. If the team doesn't play, the game ends sooner which means I can grind more double xp. I'm not a K/D person at all, but playing public matches gives me major rage.
I know what you mean. Even if I'm the only one capping B in Dom or the only one raiding the bunkers in Operation Neptune. For me, public matches are something I have fun with, as I like to try to rush the campers and flank, but only for so long. It's not like WaW where the maps allowed for immensely varied playstyles where pretty much any campers can be dealt with.

In all the CoDs I've played, I noticed WW2 has a much higher rate of people camping or sitting in corners especially on objective based modes. The game needs some more free content to make it enjoyable for prolonged periods of time, resistance dlc launched on Xbox one and already bored of the maps.

I guess for whatever reason I hadn't noticed. I play a lot of Dom and it usually isn't a problem for me in there. In War though sometimes people are just standing sniping when they should be more on the offensive and that bugs me.

Interesting. For me I could play lots of matches on Anthropoid happily. Love that map. I understand though. Then bringing back that MW3 map doesn't help with keeping things fresh.

Can't call it the Resistance DLC without the OG map tho
Personally haven't bought the DLC yet, but I've never been a huge fan of remade maps... Usually ends up killing the love I once had for the map

Resistance just doesn't play right in a WW2 setting. The weapons in WW2 are not balanced for long range encounters, which is 90% if the remade map. The war map was the only reason I purchased the DLC, and to me seems like the only map made for balanced weapon fights. Up until the last stage of the tank escort.

Operation Neptune is always a either you get a FaZe sniper clan or you get a great team. Usually it's the first.

As I'm running up the beach and diving into a prone position to avoid the MG42 fire, I turn back to see if my teammates made it and low and behold they are all ADS standing in one spot not far from spawn getting mowed down.

If I ever see I'm getting into that lobby, I back out and find a new one. It's too much hassle with a team who doesn't play, let alone try to play.

The best is running airborne & energetic with smoke grenades, and getting all the way to the bunkers, start to capture it.. die & respawn to find all other 5 team mates sitting behind the destroyed boats with snipers.

The good part of that is trolling the FaZe want-to-be snipers by tossing the smoke grenades on them, running as quickly as possible to the bunkers to get merked by shotguns sitting in corners, and continuing a rinse/repeat process.

I use smokes like it's 1999. I love to smoke a camping sniper and then watch them run around. Either that or I'll follow them and annoy them.

UPDATE:
Have you played on Shipment 1944? The remake is actually good! Plays just like MW did, at least from what I remember. If not, it's better! The spawns are a little more random, as in less spawn traps!

Fewer spawn traps? Have you played that map on WWII?

I have, and I've played it on both MWR and the original MW. Maybe I get put into decent lobbies since I usually squad up for shipment (~3 person team seems to make the dream in WW2)

It helps if you run around with the Waffe 28 with infantry and hunkered. The attachments I'd suggest would be extended mag, grip, and either rapid fire or advanced rifling. (Or go armored&energetic to really move around and get behind people trying to spawn trap you.)

I really liked WW2 when it first came out ...but all the updates , weapon nerfs and updates just changed the game completely ... no way I should be getting hit across the map with an SMG or getting killed in close quarters by a sniper rifle when I just unloaded a few rounds all almost the whole clip in someone ... hit detection really got messed up recently ...
