Bayonetta and Trials Fusion highlight the batch of games offered to Xbox Live Gold subscribers in August.

Slime Rancher, the indie life sim that launches Aug. 1, will also be available to Xbox One users for the entire month. Slime Rancher has been available in Steam Early Access since January 2016.

Trials Fusion, the 2014 followup to RedLynx's hit motocross series, is free for Xbox One users from Aug. 16 to Sept. 15. The Xbox 360 games, which are backward compatible to Xbox One, are Bayonetta from Aug. 1 to Aug. 15, and 2011's Red Faction: Armageddon from Aug. 16 to Aug. 31.

PlatinumGames' Bayonetta, which launched in 2009, needs almost no introduction. Red Faction: Armageddon is so far the last title in the third-person shooter series. The rights to the Red Faction franchise are now held by THQ Nordic, which today announced a Gamescom lineup that includes two unnamed projects.

There are still six days left for Xbox Live Gold members to collect Grow Up and Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game in the July Games With Gold package. Runbow, from 13AM Games, is available until Aug. 15.
