After almost a year of being on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC, Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming to the PS4 next week. Developer Crystal Dynamics released several new screenshots earlier today, and now you can watch the 20 Year Celebration's launch trailer.
The launch trailer shows parts of the story, in addition to highlighting all of the content that's coming to the 20 Year Celebration edition. This includes all of its DLC, outfits, and weapons, as well as a new "Extreme Survivor" difficulty and PlayStation VR support. We even get a very brief look at the new Retro Lara Croft skins in action.
When Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration releases on PS4, you'll be able to claim 100,000 free in-game credits no matter what platform you play on. All you have to do is play the game on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PC sometime between October 11 and 18, and you'll get the credits.
In GameSpot's review, Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox One and PC received a score of 9/10. When compared to the Xbox One version, Rise of the Tomb Raider on PC features better lighting, more detailed textures, and the possibility of higher frame rates. The PS4 version, however, is targeting the same frame and resolution as the Xbox One.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration releases for PS4 on October 11. All of the 20 Year Celebration content will be available for free to Xbox One and PC players that own the season pass. Preordering the game digitally on PS4 gets you a free download of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. You can watch more than an hour of PS4 gameplay here.
