Wolfenstein is widely considered to have popularized the FPS genre of video games after Wolfenstein 3D released in 1992. The game has been around since its inception in 1981 with its first entry, Castle Wolfenstein. Since then, the series has become a cornerstone of FPS games, and if a recent teaser from voice actress Alicja Bachleda-Curuś is true, then a new release in the series may be coming sooner than fans think.
In a recent interview on Dzień Dobry TVN, the voice actress for Anya Oliwa may have accidentally confirmed a sequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order.
“I’m working on a video game, first part of which I have already made. Now we’re making a second one, which will take two more years."
“I played this game as a child. I was very happy when I got to the point where I could shoot Hitler.”
Wolfenstein: The New Order happens to be the only game that Bachleda-Curuś has starred in, meaning that she may have accidentally let news of a potential sequel slip out. Is it possible that she was hinting at another sequel, or is this most likely a teaser for Wolfenstein: The New Order 2? Discuss your opinion in the comments below!
