Twitch for Xbox One got a big update today that came with some cool new features that you should know about. It comes updated with a new advanced broadcast filter enabling you to narrow your searches to find exactly what you are looking for. This is all possible because of Xbox Live’s new ability that associates real-time gameplay stats with broadcasts. Depending on the game, you can narrow your searches by player stats, game modes, maps, player skill, car type, kill/death ratio and more.

For instance if you want to search for a Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare broadcaster who has high win/loss ratio, you will quickly be able to see who is currently broadcasting with that search preference. If you would rather find someone with the highest rank in Slayer mode on Halo or find someone playing with a specific car on Forza Horizon 2, you can find them as well. Every game has their own search criteria allowing you to find exactly what you are looking for in that particular game. This just a small part of what the new Twitch update can do. With this feature, new up-and-coming broadcasters will be able to quickly gain views and an audience as they make their way up on the charts.

Alongside the new broadcasting filter, gamers will now be able to see highlighted and past broadcasts that are available even when the broadcaster is offline. The update also makes it so that highlighted and favorite broadcasts can be pinned to the Home Screen. Broadcasters have also gotten a profile update that shows off their channel in a more personalized manner giving people a quick glimpse at what your channel is about.
