Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare finished 2016 at the top of the UK charts, pipping FIFA 17 to No. 1. According to sales monitor Chart-Track, the two giants are followed by Battlefield 1 at No. 3, Grand Theft Auto V at No. 4, and Watch Dogs 2 at No. 5 for the week ending December 31st.
Other noteworthy placements in the top 10 are Mafia III (No. 6) following its resurgence, as well as continuing good sales for Rocket League (No. 7). Steep (No. 9), meanwhile, has recovered from disappointing initial sales to now place in the top 10 in each of the past three weeks.
Watch Dogs 2 is another Ubisoft title that continues to sell well following underwhelming week one sales--though it was aided by significant retailer promotions over the holiday period. Meanwhile Grand Theft Auto V has now reportedly sold over 6 million copies in the UK alone.
