Earlier today EA "put to rest" all rumours stating that Titanfall will arrive on PS4 eventually. CFO Blake Jorgensen stated "it is exclusive only for the lifetime of the title on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC."It was in fact Major Nelson who started the rumour by accident on Reddit, he said he wasn't "worried" if it ever reached the PS4.
With that being said I'm sure this will be upsetting news to anyone who is buying a PS4 and at the same time hoping this blockbuster of a game will release on it as well. Fortunately you can still get it on PC or Xbox 360 (if you have one of course). Titanfall is scheduled to launch in March 2014.
