Big news for Titanfall fans today, as Respawn Entertainment released a teaser trailer earlier this morning for the sequel to their first game, Titanfall. The trailer is only 49 seconds, but it gives just enough information to keep gamers on the edge of their seats. It starts out with a voice-over discussing the risks of being a hero when a Titan approaches a pod with the name James MacAllen on the side (for those that don't know, that was a soldier's name from the first game). The Titan then shoves a sword into the ground with the words "EHR Titanium Series" on the side. The video then cuts to a logo of Titanfall 2, confirming that this is the game expected by fans. At the very end, it concludes by saying that the full reveal will come on June 12, the day of EA's pre-E3 conference.
As expected, the game will be released for Xbox One, PC, and PS4. An actual release date has not been set, however it will be released before March of next year. EA stated themselves that it would be released during the fiscal year next year, which started on April 1 and runs through March 31, 2017. A lot of reports have surfaced, stating that Titanfall 2 will have a single player campaign, unlike its predecessor. The original Titanfall suffered massive problems, with graphic problems and a lack of a campaign plaguing its players and causing terrible sales. It has been stated that the development team is about 30% larger than the original group from 2014, which could possibly mean heavy improvements to a game that didn't have the strongest start to begin with.
