EA has suffered a bit of a blunder today. During a live stream test that was meant for EA'S E3 press event that was happening later today, they accidentally revealed quite a few juicy details regarding Respawn Entertainment's upcoming sequel to Titanfall, Titanfall 2. Owning up to the mistake, the single-player trailer has been officially posted to the Titanfall Youtube channel for all fans to enjoy before the gameplay reveal drops later on.
Titanfall 2 will come with six new Titans, each one having their own unique tools and special combat skills. In addition to this, the game will feature new pilot capabilities, deeper character customization options, and less linear ways for players to make their way through the rank of the multiplayer modes. One of the major differences between Titanfall 2, and the first game, is that the sequel will actually have an offline single-player campaign mode, which is something many gamers were annoyed by the lack of in the first title.
The EA rep who was heard during the live stream test, stated that the single-player campaign aims to take the players much deeper into the world of Titanfall far beyond the first game ever took them. The story will focus heavily on the bond a pilot and a Titan have with one another, and as the story mode trailer shows, the pilot relies heavily on the Titan for survival, and the Titan will do anything to ensure the safety of its pilot.
A closed multiplayer beta will be announced before the game's launch, so keep an eye out for that if you'd like to get a shot at the game before anyone else.
Titanfall 2 will launch on October 28, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC
