An update is going live for Pokémon Go that sees changes to several Pokémon’s combat power. In a blog post, the team at Niantic explained that the adjustments “will allow a more balanced and competitive battling and training experience in gyms.” Failing to name Pokémon other than Alakazam, Gengar and Rhydon affected by the combat power shifts, members of the self-proclaimed research group The Silph Road have begun to fill in the gaps by detailing every Pokémon that’s now stronger or weaker than before.

There are more Pokémon getting an increase in CP than those who are seeing a decrease.whose combat power has seen an increase is longer than those who are the other way around. On the buffed list are favorites like Alakazam, Aerodactyl, Chansey, Charizard, Dugtrio, Electabuzz, Flareon, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Gengar, Golem, Gyarados, Jolteon, Machamp, Muk, Onix, Pinsir, Primeape, Raichu, Rapidash, Raticate, Rhydon, Sandslash, Seadra, Scyther, Snorlax, Starmie, Tentacruel and Vaporeon.

As for Pokémon getting nerfed, there’s Arbok, Arcanine, Blastoise, Clefable, Exeggutor, Golbat, Golduck, Hypno, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Ninetails, Persian, Pidgeot, Poliwrath, Seaking, Slowbro, Venusaur, Vileplume and Wigglytuff, among others.

The Silph Road is still doing its research, noting that changes made to Charizard and Dragonite are hard to read. Most are reporting that their Dragonites have received an increase in combat power since the update, however.

Niantic has made efforts to allow more diverse sets of players to compete in gyms in Pokémon Go in recent weeks. Defeating a gym will lower its defense even more than before following an update earlier this month, which gives tougher players a better chance to nab them after knocking them out completely.

All Pokémon Go fans will see more experience this week, thanks to a special Thanksgiving event. That should help to make the game feel even better balanced.
