Taki, the Soulcalibur franchise mainstay who’s been part of the series since the original Soul Edge, will return for Soulcalibur 6. A Japanese-language trailer for the game leaked ahead of an official announcement, show’s Taki in action.

The ninja Taki has appeared in all of the main Soulcalibur games to date, with the exception of Soulcalibur 5, which featured her student Natsu. Soulcalibur 6’s version of Taki looks very familiar; she’s wearing her signature demon armour and bright red suit and wields her dual kodachi, Rekki-Maru and Mekki-Maru.

Other details about Taki’s return are still unknown. Today’s trailer leaked via Japanese video site Nico Nico, but Avoiding the Puddle managed to snatch a copy of it before it was taken down.

Soulcalibur 6 is heading to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One later this year. So far, Bandai Namco has confirmed 11 characters — including Taki — for the game’s roster: returning fighters Siegfried, Ivy, Zasalamel, Sophitia, Mitsurugi, Nightmare, Xianghua and Kilik, as well as newcomer Grøh and guest character Geralt of Rivia.
