Next week, Star Wars Battlefront 2 publisher Electronic Arts will introduce a new map, mode, vehicle and more, based on the movie Solo: A Star Wars Story, with some content available for all players, and others are locked behind pay / earn walls.
The current season of Battlefront 2 is dedicated to Han Solo, with new locations, adventures and skins rolled out last month, based on the original Star Wars trilogy. This new package is based on Solo: A Star Wars Story, an origin story about the ace smuggler’s early life.
On June 12, players will be able to visit the Coaxium Mines of Kessel, which will be available for Blast, Hero Showdown and Heroes vs. Villains modes, as well as Extraction, a mission in which players must either defend or attack “a critical payload.”
The Millennium Falcon is already available in Battlefront 2, but EA is also adding the ship in its earlier incarnation when it belonged to Lando Calrissian. It will be available to buy or earn via in-game currency and will include intense droid co-pilot L3-37. New costumes and accessories will also be available to purchase.
