For all of you who have been patiently awaiting for the official release of Star Wars Battlefront, you will not have to wait much longer to get your hands on some of the highly anticipated game features. EA has just announced that there will be a beta available sometime in early October, including a 40-player multiplayer battle of the game mode Walker Assault on Hoth, which puts a team of Rebels against a team of the Empire. You will also be granted the opportunity to play as Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker as you defend or destroy the massive AT-ATs.

Furthermore, players will have a chance to test survival mode on Tatooine, as well as a new mode called Drop Zone that EA just recently revealed. According to EA, more details will be shared within the coming weeks. Star Wars Battlefront will launch on November 17th on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC, while the beta will be made available to the public across all three platforms, with no preorder required.
