Bethesda has officially announced something many gamers were expecting, the return of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. That’s right, one of the most popular open-world fantasy games ever will be making an high-definition return on October 28th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In addition to the major graphics upgrade, console players will finally get to enjoy the freedom mods offer to help alter and improve their gameplay experience. The game will come with all of the DLC content, so you won’t have to purchase anything separately. The updated version of Skyrim will come with remastered effects and visuals, volumetric god rays, dynamic depth of field, screen-space reflections, new snow and water shaders, and much more. You can check out the video below to see just how much the game has changed when compared to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Versions.

Along with their Fallout announcement, Bethesda has announced 3 brand new DLC’s that will be making their way to Fallout 4. The first one is called Contraption, and it’s a workshop addition that will allow players to build all sorts of makeshift items and structures within the game. This includes things like elevators, armor and weapon racks, track kits, sorting machines, conveyor belts, and much more. This DLC will be coming to Fallout 4 owners next week, so make sure to check it out when it releases!

The 2nd DLC is called Vault-Tec, and this one is one of the more interesting DLC. Like the Fallout Shelter app, this DLC will allow players to build their very own custom Vault from the ground up. It’s basically an in-game version of the app, with deeper customization options. This DLC will be coming next month, and it sure to be something many players will have quite a bit of fun with, especially since you’ll be able to experiment on abuse your own Vault dwellers. Last but not least we have the third new DLC that was announced, called Nuka World. It’s currently unclear as to what this DLC actually is, but going off of the trailer alone it seems to take place in some Raider infested Nuka-Cola themed amusement park that has been turned into some sort of massive trading post. This DLC will be released this August, so expect more details to come as the release date approaches.

Fallout Shelter will also be receiving a massive update pretty soon. Players will soon be able to send their vault-dwellers on quests to brand new locations that span across the wasteland. In addition to this, there will be new enemies along with a fresh combat system for you to test it out on. This is all coming next month, along with the newly announced PC version of Fallout Shelter. Bethesda is doing a great job at keeping fans updated with fresh new content on a monthly basis, let’s hope much more is coming in the months after all of this new content drops.
