Just recently, plans for the first beta weekend for the upcoming game RollerCoaster Tycoon World were announced through a blog post. Players will be able to start building the theme park of their dreams on October 30th, or in other words, this Friday. The beta will run through the weekend and will be ending on Monday, November 2nd. The main goal of this beta will be to gather user feedback and fix any bugs or glitches that may arise through their bug tracker.
The beta will give you the opportunity to experience Sandbox mode on the Forest map. Players will also be able to use the entire coaster builder across all different types of coasters. This is an essential part of RollerCoaster Tycoon World, so the developers behind the game are hoping for lots of feedback from the community. Other things that will be fully available to utilize during the beta are coaster physics, coaster riding, the scenery system, along with paths and grid controls. Although, terrain and water controls for the map and other additional features which were not outlined. Players will also be able to use almost all of the simulation features in RollerCoaster Tycoon World.
As I stated earlier, the main goal of this beta will be to gather user feedback and to address any gameplay bugs. Members from the development team will also be interacting with users on their forums page. They have stated that the way they planned out these betas will be able to focus on small sections of the game, address any issues within those sections, and then move on to other features and modes. Having said this, plans for a second beta have also been detailed. As of now, it is scheduled for late November.
